More than 1,400 documents and artifacts previously managed by Thuan Hoa Ward Public Service Center have been handed over to Hue City Museum of History (268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thuan Hoa Ward).

This is an activity organized by Hue City’s Department of Health on the afternoon of August 8, with the participation of more than 30 instructors and officials from 6 wards and communes participating in the “Support for effective and sustainable interventions to prevent drowning in Hue City” project in 2025.

The construction of Ring Road 3 will begin in September 2025, marking a major milestone in Hue City’s urban transportation infrastructure development strategy. Far more than a conventional road project, this route is seen as a catalyst for expanding urban space, creating strategic land reserves, attracting investment, and improving quality of life for local residents.

Spanning a total water surface area of more than 210 km², Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system,consisting of three main lagoons: Tam Giang, Thuy Tu, and Cau Hai, is often praised as a natural masterpiece bestowed upon Hue. The Tam Giang - Cau Hai lagoon system connects to the East Sea via the Thuan An inlet (Tam Giang lagoon) and the Tu Hien inlet (Cau Hai lagoon). It is the largest brackish lagoon system in Vietnam as well as all of Southeast Asia with an incredibly rich and diverse ecosystem.

According to statistics from the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Quang Dien District, as of June 18, more than 2,377 hectares of rice and vegetables in the district remain submerged due to the impact of the recent floods.

More than 450 artworks by students were submitted to compete in the preliminary round of the 2025 Children’s Book-Inspired Drawing Contest with the theme “Ao dai and Childhood”.

With more than 25 years of collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center, Prof. Satoh Shigeru, a leading expert in the field of landscape study and urban planning at Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, Waseda University in Japan, has made many interesting discoveries about the mountain-water landscape in Hue. More than 200 books on Hue and the Hue Bookcase project, along with 50 entries from a book cover design contest themed “Hue City – My Hometown” by secondary school students, were on display at Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025.
