From June 11 to 13, Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the French-Vietnamese Respiratory Association (AFVP), organized an advanced training course on sleep disorders. The program aimed to update and enhance knowledge of sleep disorders for doctors and nurses from healthcare facilities across the country.

From April 11th - 16th, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) and Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Quality Association, returned to Hue for a week to devote to education and local enterprises. On the morning of November 23, the ceremony to receive the national intangible cultural heritage title “Knowledge of Huế Áo dài tailoring and wearing” was solemnly held at the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center.

On the morning of October 6, at Quoc hoc Hue High school for the Gifted, the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the United States Forest Services held a training session titled “Basis Knowledge on Disaster Prevention and First Aid for Injuries”.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has just issued a decision to recognize “The Knowledge of Making and Wearing Hue Ao dai” of Thua Thien Hue Province as part of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. This serves as an impetus for the Thua Thien Hue Garment Association to promote the introduction of the five-panel Ao dai into schools.

“The fact that “Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” having just been enlisted as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage not only is an honor and pride, but at the same time, affirms that Hue Ao Dai always carries the traditional cultural values of the nation and has a strong vitality throughout history,” emphasized Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports when sharing the story about the new recognition of it with Thua Thien Hue Weekly.
