On the afternoon of June 3, at the Truong Lang Corridor of the Forbidden City, Hue Imperial City, Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue University of Arts organized the opening ceremony of an exhibition on arts and heritage, with the theme “Artistic inspiration from royal patterns”. The exhibition is part of a series of activities in response to the highlight week of Hue Festival 2024.

Such is the message of Hue Plogging 2024 event held at Thuan An beach on June 2nd. The event was organized by Hue - A City to Reduce Plastics in Central Vietnam project, funded by WWF-Norway (through the World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam, WWF-Vietnam, and received by the People's Committee of Hue City), in collaboration with Hue Urban Environment and Public Works Joint Stock Company (HEPCO). Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, attended the event.

For the first time, the “Victory Challenge Sailun Cup 2024 & Car Camping Festival” off-road car racing event will take place at Thuy Tien Lake Park, Hue City. The event is organized by Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture and Sports, Southeast Asian Magazine, and Ky Nguyen (Epoch) Group Corporation, and will officially commence from June 20th to 23th.

On the occasion of the 1st anniversary of its establishment, on the afternoon of May 30, Cecile Le Pham Art Museum (53 Ham Nghi Street, Hue City) organized a drawing competition for children, with the theme “The beauty of Hue ancient capital’s heritage through the eyes of childhood”. This activity is in response to International Children's Day on June 1.

As a part of the programs celebrating Hue Festival 2024, from June 8th to 10th, Quang Dien district will host the Tam Giang Water Wave Festival featuring a myriad of cultural, artistic, and sports activities, which is a unique feature of a countryside's river culture at the foot of Tam Giang lagoon.

After the information that Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 going to take place from June 7 to June 12 was announced by the organizing committee, the tourism industry and travel agencies have focused on promoting and introducing it to tourists, and supplementing and building tour programs to create more experiences for guests; all are ready to welcome tourists to Hue during this festival.

Since the establishment in 2019 with the initial 80 members, the Green Wind Choir has now gathered nearly 200 members from 6 to 86 years old. This is the first community choir to organize its own choral concert, which has become an annual event and been eagerly awaited by audiences. Notably, the Green Wind Choir always reserves hundreds of seats for special guests, who are teenagers in difficult circumstances from social protection centers.

In order to honor Ao dai Vietnam clothing, and at the same time respond to Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024, which is due to take place from June 24 - 30, Hue City People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch to organize the Hue Community Ao Dai Week 2024.

The organizing committee of Hue Festival 2024 has recently unveiled the official poster for the upcoming festival, scheduled to take place in mid-June from the 7th to the 12th. The poster draws inspiration primarily from the restored royal patterns on the Kien Trung Palace in the Imperial Citadel, Hue city.

On February 28th, the Department of Culture and Sports conducted a review meeting to prepare for the organization of Community Ao Dai Week 2024 and declared the timing to be from June 24th to 30th.
