With only 4 days left until the Hung Kings Commemoration Day holiday, and April 30 and May 1 holidays, Thua Thien Hue's tourism industry is ready to welcome tourists on these holidays.

On the morning of April 11th, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) for 2022, in which Thua Thien Hue province ranked 6th.

Participating in the festival, Hue tourism industry focused on promoting its events and festivals of this year; especially the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 and a series of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments and the 20th anniversary of Hue Royal Court Music recognized as the world’s cultural intangible heritage.

After more than 10 years making a living in the tourism industry, Truong Thi Huyen (born in 1986) had to quit her job due to the impact of COVID-19. Huyen turned to another fun and exciting hobby of Macrame art, which is still quite new in Hue Ancient city.

On the afternoon of March 16, a ceremony to award scholarships to students of Hue University, sponsored by the Japan Business Federation (KEIDANREN) and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) in Vietnam, took place at Hue University.

On recruitment websites of the tourism industry, many vacant positions have been posted by large companies in the hope of recruiting different numbers of employees to various vacancies.
