On January 22nd, at Truong Sanh Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel, locals and visitors were delighted in experiencing the traditional Tet atmosphere within the royal Palace.

On the morning of January 22 (the lunar December 23), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held the bamboo pole erection ceremony inside Hue Imperial Citadel, following the ritual under the Nguyen Dynasty.

Gia Hoi old quarter, located to the east outside the Citadel, was once the most bustling area in Hue Imperial Capital in the early 19th century. On December 18th, at Ruong House Space within the Interior Palace area of Hue Imperial Citadel, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) in collaboration with Comicola and Phygital Labs officially launched the experience area and introduced the “Imperial Ancient Capital Archaeology Chronicles” project.

On the afternoon of November 23rd, a ceremony was held with great dignity at Thai Hoa Palace, Hue Imperial Citadel to inaugurate Thai Hoa Palace and receive the UNESCO Documentary Heritage Recognition Certificate for “The bas-reliefs on the Nine Dynastic Urns at the Imperial Palace of Hue”.

The book launch discussion for “Ham Nghi: The Exiled Emperor - An Artist in Algiers”, with the participation of author and speaker Amandine Dabat, a PhD in Art History and the 5th descendant of Emperor Ham Nghi, took place on November 5 at Duyet Thi Duong Theater, Hue Imperial Citadel.

On the morning of October 20th, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Hue University (HU) hosted the final match and award ceremony for the Robocon Huet - 2024 competition, themed “Exploring Hue Imperial Citadel”.

On the afternoon of September 28th, the Department of Education and Training, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and the Provincial Museum of History, organized a heritage visit and experience at the Imperial Citadel for students who received the title of “Honored student of the school" for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.
