On the morning of December 20 - 21, the Vovinam Tournament under the 10th Hue City Sports Games in 2025 - 2026 officially kicked off at the City Youth Activities Center. It is the eighth sport featured at this year’s Games, following traditional boat racing, karate, taekwondo, shuttlecock kicking, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.

Once being the Imperial Capital under the Nguyen Dynasty, Hue has undergone many historical phases, and today the city is regarded as one of Vietnam’s few cities where multiple architectural traditions coexist. On the afternoon of December 14th, at the People’s Committee of A Luoi 5 Commune, the City Border Guard Command, in coordination with its partner units, organized a gift-giving program to support people facing difficult circumstances and those affected by floods.

Held for the first time in Hue City, the International Tea Festival - Hue 2025 (taking place from December 10th to 12th) not only contributes to honoring Vietnamese tea culture but also is expected to serve as an important starting point, laying the foundation for the formation of a profound cultural, artistic, and tourism-oriented annual event, helping enrich Hue’s identity and enhance its attractiveness.

On December 10th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held the inauguration ceremony for the Italian ODA building, constructed using concessional loans from the Government of Italian Republic along with domestic counterpart funding.

Under the agreement, Kim Long Motor will supply 1,000 KimLong-branded buses of various models for Kijsetthi Mobility, serving the market of Thailand. Riding on this success, Kim Long Motor will also set to expand its export footprint to the Middle East market and other countries in the coming time.

On the morning of December 5, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony of its YUCHAI Engine Manufacturing and Assembly Plant (the Plant), while also rolling out the first YUCHAI engines. The event marks an important milestone in Vietnam’s strategy to master core engine manufacturing technology, as this is the first plant equipped with a modern, internationally standardized production line serving not only the automobile industry but also various other key industrial sectors.
