From February 9 to 12, the delegation of People’ Committee of Hue City led by Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee Vo Le Nhat had a visit and working session at Iasi City, Socialist Republic of Romania and signed a friendship and cooperation contract between the two cities.

On the morning of February 11, the project of Aeon Mall Hue shopping center has commenced at the land lot marked with symbols TM-DV7, in Zone A - An Van Duong New Urban Area (An Dong Ward, Hue City). With a total investment of about USD 169.67 million, this is the largest Japanese investment project in the province to date.

On the morning of February 2, a traditional Cau Ngu (fish worshipping) festival and a ceremony to kick off the Southern fishing season in 2023 were held at Thai Duong communal house, People’s Committee of Thuan An Ward, Hue City.

On January 31 (the 10th of the Lunar New Year), the traditional wrestling festival of Sinh village, Phu Mau commune, Hue city attracted a large number of local people and tourists to participate and watch.

Thousands of locals and tourists from everywhere gathered on the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain, An Tay ward, Hue City to attend the Huyen Tran Temple Festival opened on the morning of the 9th day of Tet (January 30) at Huyen Tran Cultural Center.

Marking the end of the Lunar New Year holiday, on the morning of the 7th day of Lunar New Year (January 28, 2023), Hue Monuments Conservation Center held a ceremony to lower the Neu pole and open the seal to greet the new year at The Mieu Temple and Trieu Mieu Temple - Imperial City.

On the afternoon of January 26 (the 5th day of the Quy Mao Tet holiday), Hue City People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the Spring Festival 2023.
