On the afternoon of June 24, Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan hosted a courtesy meeting with a delegation from Pacific Construction Group Co. Ltd., and Guotai Haitong Securities Co. Ltd., of China. The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang, along with representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and units.

On the afternoon of June 11, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, along with representatives of local departments and agencies, had an official meeting with a delegation from Fundación Metrópoli of Spain, led by Dr. Alfonso Vegara Gomez, the organization’s Founder and President, to explore strategic orientations for urban planning and sustainable heritage urban development of Hue.

On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, had a conference to meet with Chinese tourism businesses and investors in Beijing, China. The delegation also had the participation of representatives from Hue City Department of Tourism and Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade, and Enterprise Support.

On the evening of May 30, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, held the final round of the 7th Science Innovation and Agricultural Startup Idea Competition 2026, drawing the participation of lecturers, students, scientists, and business representatives.

On the morning of May 23rd, the University of Law, Hue University, in coordination with Da Nang Representative Office of the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam and Tilleke & Gibbins, held the opening ceremony for the 6th “Student Innovation and Intellectual Property” Competition 2026 under the theme “Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence”.

On the morning of April 28th, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to introduce the 3.0 Tesla MRI system - SIGNA Pioneer. Attendees included Mr. Pham Duc Tien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Council; Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee, along with representatives of various departments and agencies.

On the afternoon of April 23, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, along with representatives from relevant departments and sectors, received and held a working session with a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk, Consul General.

On the morning of April 6th, Hue city People’s Committee held the launch ceremony for the “Understanding Online Public Services on the Hue-S Platform 2026” online contest. Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee, along with representatives of departments, agencies, localities, universities, hospitals, research institutes, and the business community in the area.

Following its success in Hue, representative paintings by Emperor Ham Nghi will be showcased to the public in Hanoi in late April 2026.

On the morning of March 20, at Phu An Secondary School, Hue City Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the “Happiness for Children” communication program in response to the International Day of Happiness. The event drew the participation of representatives from various departments and agencies, local authorities, the school’s leadership board, parents, and 50 pairs of parents and students.
