According to the decision, the School of Engineering and Technology - Hue University was established through the merger of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, the International School, and the Institute for Socio-Economic Development Studies under Hue University.

Beyond meeting the healthcare needs of local residents, Hue is welcoming an increasing number of international patients for medical examinations and treatment. On the morning of September 28, Hue Odonto - Stomatology Hospital and Hue International General Hospital, in coordination with ReSurge International, launched a screening and microsurgical reconstruction program, including oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery for patients who have undergone cancer treatment.

On the afternoon of September 27th, Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Hue City, in coordination with the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Hue University, held a friendship gathering and exchange program to mark the 77th anniversary of the National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1st, 1949 - October 1st, 2026). ​

On the afternoon of September 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a meeting to review the organization of Hue Heritage and International Music Festival - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026. The Vietnam - Japan Local Cooperation Forum 2026 (the Forum) is expected to resolve obstacles, accelerate ODA-funded projects, attract investment, strengthen educational ties, and establish a mechanism for annual cooperation between localities of the two countries, contributing to creating momentum for Hue City’s economic breakthrough and deeper international integration.
