The ‘Hue Ancient Capital - Phong Nha: World Heritage Journey’ tourist train (HQ1/HQ2) has recently been launched, connecting famous destinations in Central Vietnam through an engaging rail travel experience. This approach is bringing Hue to life on social media while giving travelers from around the world more interesting information to inspire their own experiences in the city.

On the morning of August 27th, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Council Pham Duc Tien received and held a working session with a delegation from the Organization Commission of Salavan Provincial Party Committee of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, led by Mr. Chansilone Sisomboun, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Commission of Salavan Provincial Party Committee.

Rather than focusing on sheer visitor numbers, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center is shifting its service strategy at the Imperial City and other heritage sites toward product selectivity and enhanced visitor experiences, to attract high-spending tourists.

By hosting the Hue Heritage and International Music Festival 2026 - Hue Wonderverse Music Fest 2026, which is scheduled from August 30 to September 1, alongside the National Day Holiday on September 2, Hue City is expected to witness a surge in tourist arrivals. This may lead to a local ‘fully booked’ situation at certain peak times. Drawing from the experience of the last April 30 - May 1 holiday, the local tourism sector is developing plans to enhance its reception capacity and service quality.

On August 12th in Hue City, Nguyen Chi Thanh School of Politics held a seminar to exchange experience in personnel training and professional development with a delegation from the Schools of Politics and Public Administration of Salavan, Sekong, Champasak, and Savannakhet provinces in Laos.

The cooking class is included as part of Huetourist’s all-inclusive tour package. A local instructor takes the lead in demonstrating the process and helps visitors practice each step themselves. The selected dishes reflect the daily culinary traditions of Hue locals.

The railway line connecting Hue to Da Nang via the Hai Van Pass spans approximately 100 kilometers and is considered one of the most beautiful railway routes in the country.
