At the end of each year, together with many medical schools across the country, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, holds the “Macchabée Festival - Gratitude to Those Who Donate Their Bodies to Science”. Held annually, the event has become a meaningful tradition for medical and pharmacy students to express their deep gratitude and respect to the “silent teachers” - those who have chosen to dedicate their bodies to the advancement of knowledge and the preservation of life.

Aedus Crew, a young and energetic dance group, is gradually making its mark on the artistic life of the Ancient capital. Behind its high-energy performances are students from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University.

On the evening of February 6, the Student Union of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, organized the Macchabée Festival 2026 to express profound gratitude to those who donated their bodies to science.

On January 17, the counseling booth of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, at the 2026 Admissions and Career Counseling Fair, drew significant attention from a large number of high school students across Hue City and surrounding areas.

On the evening of December 27th, at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Guitar Club of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University organized “CUON” music show, attracting the attention of a large number of students and music enthusiasts.

The atmosphere at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, has become even more vibrant with the victory of the student team participating in the 2025 International Medical Biochemistry Competition.

At the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the qualities of dedication, deep expertise, and moral integrity in an educator are often associated - by generations of students, trainees, and colleagues - with Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy, the Rector. More than an administrator or a gifted leader, he is a model teacher who has devoted his life to education, medicine, and the enduring values of humanity.

Hoang Ngoc Vinh An, a medical student, representing Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, surpassed many contestants from medical and pharmacy universities across the country to win the Second Prize in the “National Medical and Pharmacy Students’ Model Session” competition. This achievement helped Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy make a mark at the “9th National Medical Education Conference - 2025”, held at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy in early November.

On September 26th - 27th, the 2025 National Scientific Conference on Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (A&R) took place in Hue City, co-organized by Vietnam Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Hue City Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and the Hospital of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The event brought together more than 1.000 doctors, specialists, scientists, postgraduate students from Vietnam and abroad, along with representatives of healthcare enterprises.

On July 17, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to students who completed the Work-Study Transfer Program for the academic year 2023 -2025.
