This was the theme of a workshop jointly organized on May 7-8 by the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, in collaboration with Viet Nature Conservation Centre, Hue Forest Owners Sustainable Development Association (HUE-FOSDA), Hue City Forest Protection Department, and Phong Dien Nature Reserve Management Board.

On the morning of May 8th, the Office of the City People’s Committee announced that in Kandy, Central Province of Sri Lanka, a high-level delegation from Hue City led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Central Province administration to discuss and promote cooperation opportunities in the coming period.

The 3rd HTA Group Cup Football Tournament – 2026 kicked off on the afternoon of May 7 at Green City Stadium (My Thuong Ward, Hue City). The Duong No Village Festival 2026, jointly organized by Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City and Duong No Ward People’s Committee on the occasion of the 136th Birth Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), and in response to the Summer Festival 2026, will take place from May 14 to 16.

On May 5, following the directives of the City People’s Committee and in line with Resolution 55/2025/NQ-HĐND, Hue Monuments Conservation Center announced a pilot program to verify eligibility for the beneficiaries of reduced heritage entrance fees via the e-ticketing system.

The first “Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival of Mountainous Ethnic Groups” of Hue City in 2026 is part of the “Summer Festival” program of Hue Festival 2026. It is held periodically and rotates among localities where ethnic minority communities settle and live.
