Over the two days of December 11 and 12, Hue City mobilized forces and vehicles to implement peak period patrol, inspection, and control to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing; while also assessing the national defense and security situation in the city's waters.

On December 11, the Department of Tourism organized a program to survey wellness tourism products in the city to orient their exploitation, promotion, and development in the coming time.

This belief was shared by Mr. Ho Dac Thai Hoang, Chairman of the City Union of Science and Technology Associations, in a conversation with a Hue Today Weekly correspondent about scientific research and innovation, which is seen as the foundation for promoting the city’s science, technology, and socioeconomic development.

On the afternoon of December 10, Hue City Fine Arts Association, in collaboration with the University of Arts, Hue University, organized the opening ceremony of the Fine Arts Exhibition celebrating the 74th anniversary of Vietnam Fine Arts Traditional Day (December 10, 1951 - December 10, 2025). On the afternoon of December 9, in Hue City, the Border Guard Commands of three provinces and cities: Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Ngai (Vietnam), held the 19th annual talks in 2025 with the Military Command of Sekong Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic).

Since the operation of the two-tier local government model, Hue Intelligent Operations Center (HueIOC), along with Hue-S super application has become the core infrastructure for the operating work of Hue City. The system not only helps the government operate efficiently and transparently, but also plays the role of an inter-level coordination axis, ensuring data is connected uniformly and citizens' feedback is processed quickly and accurately.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.

Following Directive No. 234 dated November 30th, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister on launching and implementing “Quang Trung Campaign” to urgently rebuild and repair homes for the families whose houses were damaged during recent natural disasters in the central provinces, on the morning of December 6th, at Khe Tre Commune, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony to begin the construction of new homes for residents whose houses had collapsed or been severely damaged.
