On July 10, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, and Head of the city's National Assembly Delegation, visited and encouraged personnel carrying out the collection of biological samples for DNA analysis at the Hue City Martyrs' Cemetery (An Cuu Ward).

During an on-site inspection, Secretary of Hue City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung expressed confidence and reassurance in the methodical and well-executed response carried out by the relevant forces. He also commended the strong sense of responsibility and selfless dedication demonstrated by officers, soldiers, and all personnel involved.

On the morning of July 10, Hue Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Acecook Vietnam JSC, held a press conference to announce ‘Hue - Culinary Capital 2026’ program under the theme ‘Hue Beef Noodle (Bun bo Hue) Day’. According to the Center for Investment, Trade and Business Support, Hue City People’s Committee has approved the investment policy for a project to plant large-timber forests combined with growing medicinal herbs under the forest canopy in Binh Dien Commune.

On the afternoon of July 8th, at Co Mat Vien - Tam Toa, Hue Festival 2026 Organizing Committee officially launched the photography contest ‘Hue - Ancient Capital, New Experiences’. The competition is part of Hue Festival 2026 and aims to promote Hue as a city of heritage, culture, ecology, scenic beauty, and hospitality to both domestic and international audiences.

More than 160 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City are participating in a training program jointly organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports and Hue City Department of Education and Training, which officially opened on the morning of July 8th.

On the evening of July 8th, at Hue City Center for Culture and Cinema, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, held the closing ceremony of the 2026 Three-Region Folk Instrumental Music and Folk Singing Festival. During the ceremony, the organizing committee presented numerous awards to outstanding artistic ensembles, individuals, performances, and programs.

In response to the National Concentrated Promotion Program launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, from July 1 to 31, the Department of Industry and Trade is organizing the first Hue City Sales Promotion Month in 2026.

On the afternoon of July 8, Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, in collaboration with Hoang Sy Club as well as various dance and folk dance clubs, teams, and groups, organized the “Ao Dai Dance 2026” exchange program in response to Hue Ao Dai Week 2026.
