By noon on April 10, cyclists competing in stage 8 of the 38th National Cycling Tournament “Non song lien mot dai” (“A unified country”) - 2026: Dong Hoi Ward (Quang Tri) - Hue City crossed the finish line at the intersection of Le Duan Street and Quang Duc Gate (approximately 150m from the Phu Van Lau area).

On the morning of April 10, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Ha Van Tuan had a courtesy meeting with the working delegation from Baosteel Can Making Co. Ltd., (Hue - Vietnam), led by Mr. Wu Jian Peng.

On the afternoon of April 9th, a delegation from Hue, led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, paid a visit, held working sessions, and extended Bunpimay New Year greetings in Salavan Province, Lao PDR.

From April 6th to 10th, a delegation from the Police Department of Hue City, led by Major General Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Director of the municipal Police, paid visits, extended New Year greetings, and held working sessions with police forces in Lao provinces of Salavan, Champasak, Savannakhet, and Sekong (Lao PDR).

On the afternoon of April 8, Hue City Women's Union, in collaboration with An Cuu Ward Women's Union, held a ceremony to launch a pilot model “Member families with no delinquent children”.

On the afternoon of April 7, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held at the City People's Committee Office between Hue City People's Committee and the Pacific Construction Group (China), marking a new phase of cooperation in attracting investment and developing urban infrastructure.

On April 7, the Hope Foundation (FPT Group) coordinated with Nippon Paint Vietnam and the Department of Education and Training of Hue City to hold an inauguration ceremony for the “My School Makeover” project at Phu Luong Kindergarten - Dong A Campus (Phu Ho Commune).

On the morning of April 6th, Hue city People’s Committee held the launch ceremony for the “Understanding Online Public Services on the Hue-S Platform 2026” online contest. Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee, along with representatives of departments, agencies, localities, universities, hospitals, research institutes, and the business community in the area.
