Accordingly, with the theme "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development", Hue Festival 2023 will be held with successive activities throughout the year, starting with the Opening ceremony for the Festival, the Ban Sóc Calendar Issue Ceremony on January 1st, 2023 and ends with the Countdown Program on December 31, 2023.

After the postponement due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the People's Committee of Hue City is urgently preparing to organize the 9th Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 at the end of April 2023.

To implement the Four Seasons Festival Project, Hue City People's Committee continues to organize the 9th Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023 with the theme "The Vietnamese Craftsmanship," as a continuation of the previous eight successful Hue Traditional Crafts Festivals since 2005.

According to Hue Festival Center, the permanent organizer of Hue Festival, the plan to organize Hue Festival 2023 is being discussed by agencies, departments and experts and is expected to be finalized and published this October.

This was emphasized by Mr. Vo Le Nhat, the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, at the meeting with the delegation of Cergy City (France) led by Mr. Karim Ziabat, Deputy Mayor of Cergy, on the morning of October 18th.

Taking place on October 6 at 53 Nguyen Hue, Hue City, the innovation festival for Hue traditional products held by the People’s Committee of Hue City in collaboration with the Provincial Innovation Start-up Center is an activity to raise the capacity of branding and sales for Hue specialties and traditional products.

Traditional lanterns which were thought to be extinct are now revived in an extremely impressive way. They help the public partly figure out how exciting and unique the Mid-Autumn Festival was in the past. Apart from that, they are part of the Vietnamese identity and values.

On September 9, the Provincial Stamp Association coordinated with the Provincial Post Office to open the Postage Stamp Exhibition in response to the Four Seasons Festival 2022 with the theme “Vietnam, the Country & its People”.

On the afternoon of September 9, Thua Thien Hue Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Hue Industrial College and OBC Vietnam jointly organized the program of Investment Promotion and Trade Connection Day.

On the afternoon of September 6, the People's Committee of Hue City held this activity at Thuong Bac Park and downtown streets.
