In recent years, along with the orientation of building Hue into the first bicycle city in Vietnam, green transportation solutions have been increasingly emphasized, in which, the electric-assist conversion kit for bicycles developed by VierCycle, a young engineering team, is being considered a new solution, which is both modern and suitable for the characteristics of a small and peaceful city like Hue.

Following the free motorbike repair program, Hue Industrial College has launched another initiative to provide free repair services for electrical equipment, electronic appliances, as well as, refrigeration equipment damaged by the recent floods in Hue City.

This approach aligns with urban characteristics, laying the foundation for a city with low-emission, sustainable, and livable in.

An electric vehicle powered by solar energy, designed and manufactured by students from the College of Hue, was handed over to Hue Monuments Conservation Center. The handover ceremony took place on the morning of August 7 at Co Ha Garden, Hue Imperial Citadel.

On April 15th, Gbike Co., Ltd. (Viet PM) in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) held a ceremony to hand over and put into operation 20 GCOO electric bikes at Gia Long Mausoleum. This is the topic of a media creativity contest, which is organized by Thua Thien Hue Institute for Development Studies (HueIDS) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to promote and raise the awareness of green transportation in Hue City.
