On the morning of October 15th, at Phu Loc Commune, the Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund under the Department of Health, in collaboration with the Zhi Shan Foundation, held the scholarship award ceremony of 2025, second phase, for underprivileged students.

On October 2, a team of doctors and medical staff from Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital organized a Community Dentistry program at Hue City Center for Social Work and Child Protection Fund. This initiative was part of the 2025 community oral disease prevention plan implemented by the Hue City Department of Health.

On September 26th - 27th, the 2025 National Scientific Conference on Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (A&R) took place in Hue City, co-organized by Vietnam Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Hue City Department of Health, Hue Central Hospital, and the Hospital of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The event brought together more than 1.000 doctors, specialists, scientists, postgraduate students from Vietnam and abroad, along with representatives of healthcare enterprises.

On the morning of August 18, the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune, in collaboration with Hue City Department of Health and a sponsoring unit, launched a safe swimming class for children aged 6 to 15. The class attracted 300 participating students, divided into 15 groups.

This is an activity organized by Hue City’s Department of Health on the afternoon of August 8, with the participation of more than 30 instructors and officials from 6 wards and communes participating in the “Support for effective and sustainable interventions to prevent drowning in Hue City” project in 2025.

On the morning of August 7, Hue City Department of Health held a training conference to implement the 2025 plan for the project titled “Support for the Implementation of Effective and Sustainable Interventions for Drowning Prevention in Hue City”, with the participation of representatives from various departments, agencies, as well as the People’s Committees of communes and wards, and other related units.

On the afternoon of July 23rd , the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to evaluate the results of a non-state budget funded science and technology project titled: “Researching, expanding, developing, and harnessing the medicinal value of Abelmoschus Sagittifolius (Bo Chinh Ginseng), a valuable Vietnamese medicinal herb, to create a health-oriented material-products-gift set linked with scientific and cultural research in Hue City”, led by SBC Hoang Gia Co., Ltd.

On the morning of June 23, the Action to Community Development Center (ACDC Institute) in collaboration with the City Department of Health and the Association for Persons with Disabilities - the City Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, co-organized the 2025 event titled “Run with People with Disabilities: No Distance - No Limits” at Thuan An Beach (Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

That was the theme of the national-level scientific conference organized on June 21 by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City (Union of Associations) in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Department of Science and Technology, Hue Central Hospital, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Association, and the Infectious Diseases Association of the city. The event gathered leading experts in health, environment, and agriculture - forestry from Vietnam and abroad.

On the morning of June 7, the Hue City Department of Health in coordination with Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City held a scholarship awarding ceremony for typical outstanding students who have overcome difficulties in 2025.
