That was the topic of a seminar, which was organized at the Intercultural meeting place (at 94, 96, and 98 Bach Dang Street, Hue City) on the morning of July 29 by the Huong River Museum of Antique Pottery.

The People's Committee of Hue City has just launched a news and art photo contest with the theme "Hue - A friendly land", with the aims to propagate and promote beautiful images of culture, civilized lifestyle, landscape, environment and people of Hue, who are friendly and hospitable, to domestic and international visitors and friends.

The “Dancing - Ao dai by the Huong River” program took place at the park area of Nha Ken, next to Truong Tien Bridge (Le Loi Street, Hue City) on the afternoon of July 12, officially ended the Hue Community Ao dai Week 2023 organized by the Department of Culture and Sports.

Over 150 sketch works capturing the beauty of A Luoi region through the perspectives of both professional and amateur artists were recently showcased and introduced to the public on the afternoon of July 10th at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (Hue Museum of Fine Arts, 17 Le Loi, Hue City).

On the morning of July 7, Hue Monuments Conservation Center coordinated with the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to organize an incense and flower offering ceremony, and a procession of gratitude to the ancestor on the occasion of the death anniversary of Lord Nguyen Phuc Khoat, the person who laid the foundation of Ao dai Vietnam. This is one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2023, and within the framework of the Autumn Festival’s activities.

On the morning of June 17th, Hue Monument Conservation Center, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports and the Inherited Calligraphy Association of Taiwan (China), inaugurated the exhibition "Than Kinh Nhi Thap Canh (Twenty gorgeous landscapes of the Land of Genies) – Emperor Thieu Tri poetry through the Inherited Calligraphy of Taiwan (China)" at Thieu Phuong Garden, within the Imperial Citadel.

Located in the central part of Vietnam, Hue is an ideal destination to learn about history, culture, and long-standing traditional values. Once the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty for many centuries, Hue, despite various upheavals, has still preserved its ancient features, monumental architectural works, and sophisticated, beautiful artworks with special historical-cultural values.

On his working visit to Hue in late March 2023, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that the locality should coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to set up the project to build the Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities in a new position in the spirit of science, modernity, and architecture in harmony with the overall Hue Monuments.

Through the exhibition, the Japan Cultural Exchange Center in Vietnam has introduced an aspect of Japanese culture by studying Yakishime from the earliest samples to contemporary works.

Although the Huong River is just located humbly in the area of Thua Thien Hue, this river is still full of beauty from being fierce in the sections of waterfalls in the upstream of the old forest to being gentle and fond when flowing through the delta. Just like that, the Huong River has been an indispensable part in the deep spiritual life of Hue people and Hue culture.
