Located about 20km west of Hue Imperial City, Emperor Gia Long's Mausoleum (or Thien Tho Mausoleum) is a relic of the Complex of Hue Monuments, which has been recognized by the UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Following the approval of the project to build a community-based beach tourism model in Hai Duong Commune, now in Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District, by Hue City People's Council (formerly) in July 2023, the infrastructure in this place is gradually being completed, serving the sightseeing and swimming needs of locals and visitors, contributing to enhancing the economic value of the beach and lagoon.

According to the information released by the Department of Tourism on the afternoon of February 27, the promotional video for the National Tourism Year – Hue 2025 with the theme “Hue - Ancient Capital - New Opportunities” has just been launched on the Fanpage of Hue City People’s Committee.

Sipping tea is a delicate beauty of people in the Ancient Capital City. Especially Hue people have long connected their tea drinking with the Huong river _ the soul of the region.

On February 22, Hue Dental Hospital (under the Department of Health) collaborated with Resurge International, Stanford University (USA), and the World Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery to conduct screenings for patients from Hanoi, Long An, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and other locations. This program is part of the breast reconstruction surgery week for post-cancer patients.

The work of collecting and digitizing documents is incredibly important and has never been enough to effectively carry out the restoration of cultural heritage. For the cultural heritage of Hue, this need is even more urgent as the Complex of Monuments of Hue Imperial City still has many structures awaiting sufficient documentation to complete scientific files for restoration purposes.

On the afternoon of February 19th, at Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC), Mr. Franck Bolgiani, Cultural Attaché and Director of the French Institute in Hanoi, visited and held discussions with the Center to strengthen cooperation in preserving and promoting Hue’s cultural heritage.

Overcoming many stereotypes, Do Ky Minh Hien, a Gen Z young man from Hue, and his like-minded friends have built a community dedicated to snake identification and first aid for snakebites in Vietnam.

Along with the non-vegetarian banh goi (wrapped cakes) once offered to the emperor, vegetarian banh goi has been closely tied to the childhood of many generations of people from Huong Can Village (Huong Toan Commune, Huong Tra Town).

This was the topic of the second Empathic communication workshop, which featured meaningful and inspiring sharing from Minh Bon, the speaker, Director of Sao Mai Education System, Coach of the Happy Teacher Foundation, and Reporter at the Institute of Applied Psychology - Education. The workshop was organized by Hue Book and Culture Club on February 16 at the Hue Book and Culture Space (at 23 - 25 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City).
