The lush lawns and shaded canopies of ancient trees in the Imperial Citadel, Co Ha Garden, or Thieu Phuong Garden are not naturally self-sustained. Behind that serene beauty lies the quiet dedication of dozens of workers who care daily for every tree and flowerbed, helping preserve the “green soul” of Hue’s heritage.

At noon on July 28th, Hue City Federation of Labor and the Trade Union of Son Ha Hue Co., Ltd. held the 2025 “Trade Union Meal” event.

With dozens of specially designed programs fixed to each age group, combining experiencing hands-on activities, historical storytelling, and royal court games, the heritage education initiative at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities has become a popular experiential learning destination for thousands of students.

It was just another ordinary day at the Center for Nursing and Care for the Meritorious in Hue City - a place that welcomes revolution contributors, and policy beneficiaries each year. It is also a long-term home for dozens of war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs who have no one to rely on. The Center is currently caring for ten elderly women. Most of them live alone and have special circumstances, but here they are cared for with wholehearted attention and dedication.

On the afternoon of July 24th, Mr. Le Ba Minh Hai - Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Bai Ward, presented a certificate of commendation to Mr. Tran Van Phi (born in 1999, residing in An Ha Hamlet, My Thuong Ward, Hue City) for his courageous act of rescuing a drowning child.

On the afternoon of July 23rd , the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to evaluate the results of a non-state budget funded science and technology project titled: “Researching, expanding, developing, and harnessing the medicinal value of Abelmoschus Sagittifolius (Bo Chinh Ginseng), a valuable Vietnamese medicinal herb, to create a health-oriented material-products-gift set linked with scientific and cultural research in Hue City”, led by SBC Hoang Gia Co., Ltd.

The Dance Artists’ Association is the youngest among the professional associations under the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Hue City. However, in recent years, it has grown into a collective of outstanding individuals, producing high-quality and contemporary dance performances that meet the diverse tastes of Hue’s public.

The People's Committee of Hue City has approved the organization of the first race designed to explore the city’s cultural heritage - “Hue Heritage Trail 2025”. This is a highlight event within the framework of Hue’s 2025 Wellness Tourism Week and responding to the 2025 National Tourism Year.

On the afternoon of July 21, at the headquarters of Hue City People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Nicolai Prytz, Ambassador of Denmark to Vietnam and his delegation.

Many mysteries have been revealed at the Lieu Coc Twin Towers relic site (located in Huong Xuan Ward, now Kim Tra Ward, Hue City) following the completion of the second phase of excavation in early July 2025. This excavation continues the first phase carried out in 2024, aiming to find the answers to the Cham architectural structure buried underground for centuries.
