Implementing the Comprehensive Digital Transformation Plan, contributing to building “digital citizens, digital community, and digital ward”, Phu Bai Ward Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union collaborated with relevant forces to launch the “Digital literacy for all” program across villages and residential groups within the ward.

A new highlight of this program is the partnership with Viettel Huong Thuy, which provided technical support, free identification SIM cards, teaching equipment, and Wi-Fi hotspots at implementation sites.

Mr. Phan Tuan Vu, Secretary of the Phu Bai Ward Youth Union, shared, “We opened the “Digital literacy for all” training sessions for over 200 local residents, the majority of whom are over 50 years old. The program aims to provide basic digital knowledge and skills for grassroots officials and citizens, especially the elderly and those with limited access to technology or who are not yet proficient in using digital platforms. It also strengthens coordination between forces in digital transformation communication and guidance at the grassroots level.”

Following the training sessions, most participants gained better awareness and basic digital skills, and received hands-on guidance on how to use digital platforms such as the VNeID app, Level 1 and 2 electronic identity authentication, the National Public Service Portal, and Hue-S, etc. Additionally, the program gathered feedback from people to further refine the content and implementation methods.

The “Digital literacy for all” program in 2025 is a practical activity that concretizes the orientation of “bringing technology closer to people”, contributing to promoting the national digital transformation towards an inclusive, comprehensive, and effective approach.
