The Hue Alpha Books Fair 2024, organized by Alpha Book Joint Stock Company, has just been kicked off to serve the public on the morning of March 27th at Vincom Plaza Hue (six-way intersection in Hue City center) with a diverse range of books from various publishers, offering high discounts.

On the afternoon of March 26th, Orient Human Design Inc Association, together with UT Aim Co., Ltd, Japan had a working session with University of Economics, Hue University on connecting and offering internship positions to students, as well as placing orders regarding human resource training for Japanese businesses in the near future.

On the afternoon of March 25, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a courtesy meeting with a delegation of the South Korean Consulate General in Da Nang, led by Mr. Kang Boo Sung.

On the evening of March 23rd, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the “Lights Out” program took place to respond to the 2024 “Earth Hour” event. Not only well known in the “kite map” as a kite maker whose giant kites have flown in many parts of the world, Nguyen Dang Hoang is also considered a unique kite flier as he has made countless original kites, creating his own brand name “Hoang’s Kite.” Among them, his dragon kite, a symbol of power,_ made with Hoang’s skillful hands then hovered in the sky at shows and international festivals made many people admire.

On March 20, the Authority of Foreign Information Service, under the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), officially announced the "Happy Vietnam" contest in 2024. The launching ceremony of the contest was connected from the bridge point of the MIC to bridge points of the Departments of Information and Communications in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

Phu Son Waste Treatment Plant (in Phu Son commune, Huong Thuy town) was invested in and built by EB Environmental Energy Ltd. Co. at a cost of roughly 1.7 trillion Vietnamese dong. The plant officially commence operations at the end of January 2024, playing an crucial role in effectively addressing the waste management issue and ensuring environmental hygiene in Thua Thien Hue province - a pressing concern for the community as landfills in Thuy Phuong have reached capacity, disrupting residents’ lives with foul odors emanating from overflowing landfills.
