Once the sous chef of a five-star hotel in Hue and a multiple award-winning chef, Tran Huy Cuong took an unexpected turn in his career, venturing into entrepreneurship in his 50s. Driven by the desire to “turn simple things into specialties,” he chose the figs as the starting point for his journey to bring Hue’s traditional culinary products to Vietnamese dining tables and beyond.

On the afternoon of March 27th, at Hue City People’s Committee, the organizing committee of Hue Festival 2025 held a signing ceremony for the sponsorship contract with DOJI Gold, Silver, and Gemstone Group Joint Stock Company, awarding them the title of “Diamond Sponsor” for sponsoring 5 billion VND to Hue Festival 2025.

On February 9, the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded the master's and bachelor's degrees for the first phase of 2025. Attending the ceremony was Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung, Deputy Director of Hue University.

This was one of the highlights shared at a conference summarizing activities in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025 of Hue City Hotel Association, which took place on the late afternoon of January 10. Attending the conference were leaders of departments, agencies of Hue City, Vietnam Tourism Association, and Hue City Tourism Association.

On the afternoon of January 7, the People’s Committee of Huong Vinh Ward, Phu Xuan District held a ceremony to receive the certificate recognizing Bao Vinh forging craft as a traditional craft, which was awarded by Thua Thien Hue Provincial People’s Committee (Hue City People’s Committee for now).
