On the morning of April 19, Hue University held the opening ceremony for the 6th Sports Festival 2026.

On April 5, the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward officially opened the 1st Sports Festival for the 2025-2026 period. The event drew strong participation from a wide range of groups, including residential quarters, schools, and armed forces units, with the partaking of outstanding athletes who have achieved notable results at both city and national levels.

On the morning of March 29th, Thanh Thuy Ward held the opening ceremony of its 1st Physical Training and Sports Festival for the 2025–2026 period.

On the morning of March 24, the Hue City Police officially opened the 9th “For National Security” Sports Festival 2026.

Securing a total of 747 medals of all kinds in 2025, including 76 international medals; having numerous coaches and athletes honored with prestigious titles; and leaving notable marks at the 33rd SEA Games and on the continental stage… have, to some extent, confirmed both the foundation and the prospects for a breakthrough in Hue’s high-performance sports in general, and the City Sports Training and Competition Center (the Center) in particular.

The 2026 National Beach Wrestling Championship took place from March 8 to 15 in Bac Ninh, bringing together nearly 600 male and female athletes from 21 provinces, cities, and sectors. Competitors contested 54 weight categories in both the championship and youth championship divisions.

On the morning of March 7, Hue City Youth Center officially held the opening ceremony of the 2nd Expanded Traditional Martial Arts Championship for Children and Youth in Hue City - 2026.

The petanque competition of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival officially opened on the morning of March 7th at Hue City Sports Center. Notably, the tournament features the participation of many athletes aged 70 and above.

On the afternoon of January 15, the City’s Sports Training and Competition Center held a review and commendation ceremony honoring coaches and athletes who were awarded prestigious State titles and achieved outstanding results at the 33rd SEA Games.

On the morning of January 4, Hue City Youth Center organized the 3rd Hue City Open Youth Chess Tournament - 2026.
