On the afternoon of December 18, a National Scientific Conference themed “Promoting the value of Hue traditional music in cultural and tourism development” took place at Saigon Morin Hotel. The conference was jointly organized by Thua Thien Hue Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and relevant agencies.

Emerging in the late 19th century and early 20th century, jazz quickly spread worldwide, becoming a genre that has attracted diverse cultures in various countries, regions, and communities. It has evolved into a popular art form, connecting with cinema, sports, literature, and many other disciplines. However, in Vietnam, the jazz-listening community remains quite small, lacking widespread venues for the general public. In Hue, jazz is particularly young, both in terms of its audience and the community of musicians who play it.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, it is estimated that 101,000 tourist arrivals visited and participated in various activities during Hue International Arts Festival Week 2024 in the 7 days from June 6th to June 12th.

In late autumn, when I began teaching logo graphic design classes online, I noticed that a group of students had chosen Hue as their theme. We began to understand each other and work together.

Among more than 100 fine artworks with the theme "Fine Art Works - Collection of Hue Fine Arts Museum" being organized by Hue Fine Arts Museum at 15 Le LoiSt., Hue City, more than half are typical works of famous artists from the ancient capital or once associated with this land.

Rock music is gradually returning to the Ancient Capital as old bands are coming back to the stage, and there are more and more young people passionate about this music.

Anyone who has been to Hue has felt that the weather in Hue is as erratic as a girl. However, the sound of rain still holds memories, bringing deep emotions to people's hearts.

In the gala program “Khúc giao mùa” held to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, Viet Bao, an ao dai artisan and designer, has introduced a collection named “Tram Tich Xu Tho” (the “Sediments of the Poetic Land”) at Duyet Thi Duong Theater inside the Imperial Citadel.

In Hue, the remaining educational institutions of the monarchy such as Quoc Tu Giam or the Temple of Literature were restored and QuocTu Giam was selected as a place to honor the "honorary students of the whole school" of Thua Thien Hue province.

Through the first 3 days of the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year (April 29 to May 1), Hue welcomed about 30,000 visitor arrivals. Hue tourism has been really bustling in recent days.
