On the afternoon of October 16, the Ministry of Education and Training held a scientific seminar entitled ‘Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries’ at Hue University. Prof. Dr. Le Quan, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, attended and chaired the seminar.

On October 14, the Department of Science and Technology, the standing board of the Organizing Committee for the 2026 Hue City Creative Startup Competition, held the semifinal round for 30 outstanding projects selected from the preliminary round. This semifinal round was held under the theme ‘Promoting Cultural Heritage Values in the Digital Economy’.

On the morning of October 2, Hue City Youth Center, in coordination with relevant units, organized a training course on ‘Applying AI in learning’ in 2026.

On the afternoon of August 18, the Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization of Hue City Party Committee organized a digital literacy training course for officials and civil servants working at Party Committee advisory and support agencies in 2026.

On the occasion of June 21st, Dr. Luong Dong Son, from the Institute of Journalism and Communication at the Academy of Journalism and Communication, shared with Hue Today Weekly about the journalism profession in the age of AI and the values that must be preserved amid the technological tide.

The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in primary education was among the key issues discussed at a thematic seminar organized by the Faculty of Primary Education, the University of Education, Hue University, on June 6.

On the evening of May 15, the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the City Young Business Association, and Soc do Joint Stock Company - socsdo.vn e-commerce platform, organized a program titled “Unlocking Revenue Growth with Zalo - AI - CRM Ecosystem”. On May 14th in Hue, the Journalism Professional Training Center under the Vietnam Journalists Association, in coordination with the city’s Journalists Association, organized a specialized training course titled “Applying Artificial Intelligence and Automation in Multimedia Content Production” for more than 40 reporters, editors, and communications officers. Attending the event was Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nam, journalist, Chairwoman of the city’s Journalists Association and Deputy Director of Hue Newspaper and Radio-Television Station.

Traditional culture is no longer unfamiliar to young people as the student group “Gen Z Ke Su” (Gen Z Tells History) from the Communication Technology major at FPT University Da Nang launched a media project titled “Co Vat Cung Dinh” (Royal Antiquities). The project uses modern technology applications to tell traditional stories.

On January 31, FPT Hue Primary, Secondary, and High School held the Open STEM Day 2026. The large-scale education and technology event, held for the first time in Hue, marked a significant step forward in promoting STEM education, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital transformation in general education.
