On August 15th, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)/Mine Action Efforts (VMASMA) in coordination with A Luoi District People's Committee organized a program aiming at raising awareness about Unexploded Ordinance (UXO) accident prevention, providing livelihood support for the victims, and gifting bicycles to underprivileged students.

Dozens of fashion design students from Ho Chi Minh City have had exciting experiences when they stayed and ate with Ta Oi people (A Luoi), and learned about their Zèng weaving.

Coming to A Luoi this season, you still get the chance to contemplate plum blossoms and pick the fruits from the plum trees grown in the gardens of A Luoi local people. Besides the peach blossoms, at present, the locality is encouraging and mobilizing people to grow plum blossoms in some areas to serve tourism.

Currently, A Luoi locals have been creating many small and fashionable products to serve customers' needs from Zèng fabric, which is usually only used to sew shirts, skirts, and loincloths.

Boi p'ruc is the name of the salt with leaves and seeds of the Ta Oi people in the A Luoi highland. This is the "divine" salt used for many dishes of the Ta Oi people on weekdays and traditional holidays.
