In the tourism and service development orientation of Hue City for the 2025-2030 period, with a vision to 2045, Hue tourism aims to attract 10-12 million visitors by 2030, achieving annual growth of 18-20%, with international visitors accounting for about 45+50%. Speaking with Hue Today Weekly, Mr. Dinh Manh Thang, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association and Chairman of Hue Tourism Association, stated that despite encouraging achievements, Hue tourism still faces issues that require bold change to achieve sustainable development.

From November 5 to 8, the group of friends from Hue Fellow Countrymen Association in Bao Loc, together with Cuong Vy Wedding Center - Bao Loc, Lam Dong, organized a trip to support people affected by the floods, those in difficult circumstances, rescue and relief forces, and schools in Hue City.

A piece of good news is that in the first 9 months of 2025, Hue welcomed nearly 5 million of tourist arrivals, exceeding the 4.8 million tourist arrivals recorded in 2019. On July 27, the Tourism Department announced that the number of tourists visiting Hue in the first 7 months of 2025 exceeded 4 million arrivals, significantly higher than that of 2024, which reached 3,9 million arrivals.

On the afternoon of January 3rd, the Department of Tourism held a conference to review its activities in 2024 and outline tasks for the tourism sector in 2025. Attending the event was Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

On the afternoon of January 4, the Center for Social Work and the Child Protection Fund - Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs organized a ceremony to award 50 scholarships to 50 students in especially difficult circumstances who achieved good results in study in Hue city and Huong Tra town. Each scholarship is worth VND 1 million.
