On the morning of February 8th (the 11th day of At Ty Lunar New Year, 2025), Trieu Son Dong Village council, in collaboration with Trieu Son Dong neighbourhood group (Huong Vinh Ward, Phu Xuan District), organized the Traditional Boat Racing Festival. The event celebrated Hue’s transition to a centrally-governed municipality as well as the 578th Memorial Day of the Founding Ancestors of Trieu Son Dong Village, while provided a festive atmosphere for locals to enjoy the Lunar New Year.

On February 6th, Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) launched the At Ty Spring (Lunar New Year of the Snake) 2025 “Tree Planting Festival – Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho” at Emperor Gia Long’s Mausoleum.

Overcoming 200 applicants to advance to the next round, the little girl Nguyen Khanh Ly (Hue City) excellently won the first runner-up and she was crowned at the final round of the “Global Child Supermodel” competition.

On the afternoon of February 2, the People's Committee of Thuan Hoa District organized the closing ceremony of the At Ty (the Year of the Snake) Spring Festival 2025. Attendees included leaders from Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa districts, as well as artisans participating in the Spring Festival.

On the evening of February 1st, at Thuong Bac Park, Phu Xuan District Youth Union, in collaboration with District Center for Culture, Information, and Sports, organized the 2025 cultural program “Mung Dang Quang Vinh” (In Celebration of the Glorious Party).

In the early days of the new year 2025, the Year of the Snake, many places in the city organized exciting spring activities, including cultural and sports activities, as well as folk games and royal court games, etc.

According to the information announced on the night of January 31 by the Department of Tourism, in the 7-day period from January 25 to 31, 2025 (from the December 26 of the lunar Year of Giap Thin to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year of At Ty), the number of tourists coming to Hue was estimated over 118,600 arrivals, witnessing an increase of 35% to the same period last year.

It is the theme of the Year of the Snake - 2025 Spring Press Fair, jointly organized by Journalists Association and Department of Culture and Sports on January 23rd at Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City.

On the night of January 22, in Phong Phu Ward, Phong Dien Town, the 1st Yellow Apricot Festival 2025 kicked off with the theme “Masterpieces of Spring”.

An exhibition commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 was organized by Hue City History Museum. The exhibition opened on January 22 at 268 Dien Bien Phu Street, Truong An Ward, Thuan Hoa District.
