On November 20, Hue City Red Cross launched the program of presenting 1,000 gifts to households affected and damaged by the recent exceptionally severe floods. The funding was allocated by Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee through the “Joining Hands to Overcome Floods” program, aiming to promptly help residents stabilize their lives after the disaster.

In the tourism and service development orientation of Hue City for the 2025-2030 period, with a vision to 2045, Hue tourism aims to attract 10-12 million visitors by 2030, achieving annual growth of 18-20%, with international visitors accounting for about 45+50%. Speaking with Hue Today Weekly, Mr. Dinh Manh Thang, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association and Chairman of Hue Tourism Association, stated that despite encouraging achievements, Hue tourism still faces issues that require bold change to achieve sustainable development.

Born in Hue - a place where traditional crafts are deeply intertwined with spiritual life, Tran Phuoc Hoang (28 years old) chose to dedicate himself to the craft of carving ancestral tablets. At the 28th specialized session of Hue City People's Council, term VIII (2021-2026), held on the afternoon of November 18, the City People's Council conducted the consolidation of several important positions within the City People's Committee. With a 100% approval rate from all delegates present, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, was elected as the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

The Shuttlecock Kicking Tournament of the 10th Hue City Sports Festival (2025–2026) opened on the morning of October 15 at Canh Buom Sport Hall (100 Pham Van Dong Street), bringing together 51 athletes from Hue University, Binh Dien Commune, Phu Xuan Ward, and Phu Bai Ward to compete.

Nearly 5 years into implementation, the project “Promoting the Value of Ho Chi Minh Relics in Hue City to Serve Tourism Development” for the 2021-2025 period has attracted participation from nearly 10 travel agencies offering tours to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and other relic sites.

On the afternoon of November 14th, at 119 Van Xuan, Hue City Red Cross, in coordination with Kim Long Ward People’s Committee and the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, distributed 100 relief packages to local residents heavily impacted by the recent floods. This is one of the activities under the emergency support program currently being implemented across the entire city.

As a part of 2025 National Tourism Year, the Event Week titled “100 Flavors - Michelin-Starred Chefs” will take place from November 23 to 30 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hue.

On the morning of November 11th, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee held the 2nd City Party Committee meeting, term 17th, to review the performance over the first 10 months of 2025 and to set key directions and tasks for the remaining months of 2025; the meeting also considered draft working regulations and an Action Program to submit to the City Party Congress Executive Committee.
