Thua Thien Hue, with a coastline stretching 120 km, is vulnerable to typhoons and storm surges from the East Sea. Throughout history, Hue has endured severe storms, floods, and droughts, which have had significant impacts on human life, architectural structures, and the natural environment.

This was the focus of a training conference organized by the Natural Resources and Environmental Communication Center (under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak Province. The event was held for journalists, editors, and leaders from related organizations in the Central - Central Highlands region on August 15 in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak.

Located 15 kilometers North of Hue City, Bao La bamboo and rattan weaving village (Quang Phu commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province) is a renowned traditional handicraft village.

On the afternoon of August 10, Mr. Phan Viet Phuc, Head of the Phu Loc District Forest Protection Department, said that the functional forces, in collaboration with local residents, had just released a Vich sea turtle, weighing about 70 kilograms, back into the natural environment.
