On the morning of March 25, Hue Central Hospital announced that it had held a discharge ceremony for a pediatric patient with thalassemia (a hereditary blood disorder) following a successful bone marrow transplant using marrow donated by the patient’s older sister. This is the 15th thalassemia bone marrow transplant performed at the hospital, marking an important step forward in the treatment of genetic hematologic diseases.

On the morning of March 24, the Hue City Police officially opened the 9th “For National Security” Sports Festival 2026.

On the afternoon of March 20th, An Cuu Ward organized the first Youth and Children’s Creativity Competition 2026, attracting the participation of 14 projects and models from students of primary and lower secondary schools in the area. ​

The crossbow shooting competition of the 10th City Sports Festival in 2026 kicked off on the morning of March 19 at the City Sports Training Center. This is the 13th out of 18 sports featured in this year’s Festival.

On the morning of March 19, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects to build multi-level boarding schools, covering primary and secondary education, in A Luoi 1, A Luoi 2, and A Luoi 5 Communes.
