That was the message shared by Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, at the seminar themed “Green Transition and Strategy to Attract Industrial Investment in Hue City”, co-organized on September 19th by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the Packaging Recycling Alliance Vietnam (PRO Vietnam), and Hue City People’s Committee. Attending the seminar was Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee.

Green growth and sustainable development are the most talked-about topics since the COP26 conference, where Vietnam committed to the international community to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Since then, the story of attracting investment towards "greening" has gained even more attention.

Green growth is a cross-cutting goal in the economic and social development of Thua Thien Hue. In order to realize this goal, shaping green growth starts with investment promotion is considered a key.
