Louis Philippe rose is a wild species and grows quickly. It blooms red flowers in curved shapes. Blooming all year round together with the continuous blooming period and the high-scented flowers, this kind of rose is suitable for Hue climate. Therefore, lots of families prefer to beautify their living space with Louis Philippe rose.

In addition to this species, currently, many Hue people also plants many other antique roses that have foreign origin such as Sapa, Van Khoi, Hai Phong, Lipstick roses, and Shrub roses, etc., with the characteristics of big and colorful flowers. However, with the characteristic of easy to be susceptible to insect pests, these antique roses require efforts to take care, especially in winter when it rains constantly, causing the leaves deciduousness and the plants gradual dying.
