Welcoming Thua Thien Hue people back from Ho Chi Minh City by air for phase 1
HNN.VN - On the evening of July 24, the Thua Thien Hue Steering Committee for COVID-19 Disease Control and Prevention announced the notice about the welcoming local people coming back to Hue from Ho Chi Minh City for phase I.
After getting the approval of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue province will welcome local citizens coming back for phase 1 on July 26, 2021 by air, carried out by Vietjet Air.
There will be 240 people coming back in this phase. They are the ones in the first priority group, including the adults, people with diseases wanting to come back to Thua Thien Hue provincial for treatment, pregnant women and their baby children, as well as those who are vulnerable to pandemics.
Phase II is expected to be implemented from July 27 to 30, 2021 by train or by air.
The Thua Thien Hue Province Association of Fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City will confirm those who are Thua Thien Hue local people and coordinate with the province to pick them up at their inhabitations to Tan Son Nhat Airport.
Before boarding the plane at Tan Son Nhat Airport, people will be tested for COVID-19. The work of welcoming people at Phu Bai Airport and taking them to the quarantine area has already been prepared with a plan to ensure safety for people and the community.
According to the Thua Thien Hue Steering Committee for COVID-19 Disease Control and Prevention, since the time that Thua Thien Hue announced the notice to welcome Thua Thien Hue local citizens back to hometown from Ho Chi Minh City and with registration, up to now, there are over 10.000 people having registered. The Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Disease Control and Prevention has coordinated with the Thua Thien Hue Province Association of Fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City to verify, classified and make the list of the right people in priority.
