The last two cases of COVID 19 in Hue being discharged

HNN.VN - On the morning of April 7, Hue Central Hospital and the Department of Tourism jointly organized a hospital discharge ceremony for 2 patients infected with COVID-19. These were the last two cases of COVID-19 infection being treated at Hue Central Hospital at this time, patients number 30 and 31.

The representatives of Hue Central Hospital and the Department of Tourism sent their congratulations to two discharged patients.

Both are British, entering Vietnam on flight VN0054 with patient number 17.

In which, patient number 30, 66 years old, was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 while staying in Hue; patient number 31, 49 years old, was diagnosed with COVID-19 infection while staying in Quang Nam and was transferred to Hue for treatment.

Previously, Hue Central Hospital had discharged two cases of COVID-19 infection, the patients number 33 and number 49, with British nationality and had entered Vietnam on flight VN0054.

In the cases of COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at Hue Central Hospital this time, there was patient number 49 who was the husband of patient number 33, discharged on March 31.

Being discharged from the hospital, patient number 30 was touched: “As the first patient infected with COVID-19 in Thua Thien Hue, at first we had a little difficulty in communication and daily activities. However, later, the local authorities, especially Hue Central Hospital, created the best conditions for both of us”.

Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep, Director of Hue Central Hospital, said: “During the treatment process, all 4 patients infected with COVID-19 did not have to be ventilated and were treated with as best condition as possible.”
