One more patient with COVID-19 treated in Hue discharged from hospital

Hospital discharge procedures for the 49th COVID-19 patient

The 49th COVID-19 patient (71 years old, a British man) is husband of the 30th COVID-19 patient, isolated at the Isolation Center - Hue Central Hospital - Branch 2 since March 8, 2020.

After isolation and treatment at Hue Central Hospital - Branch 2, the patient is now in good health, without any symptoms of COVID-19. However, as the patient has hypertension before, doctors have treated blood pressure during the isolation period as well as prescribing antihypertensive drugs for the patient when being discharged from the hospital.

After being discharged from the hospital, the patient will be transferred to Sun & Sea concentrated quarantine area (Phu Vang District), while waiting for his wife to fully recover and come back home together.

Earlier, on the afternoon of March 28, Hue Central Hospital (Branch 2, in Phong An Commune, Phong Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province) also carried out hospital discharge procedures for the 33th COVID-19 patient recorded in Vietnam whose name is Th.G.D (58 years old, British national).
