Plan International supports nearly VND 4 billion to help children and youth in difficult circumstances

HNN.VN - On October 16, the Provincial People's Committee approved the non-refundable aid project on "A brighter future for children and youth in difficult circumstances in Thua Thien Hue of the Center for Community Development and Social Work (Codes)" funded by Plan International (USA) in Vietnam with the amount of more than VND 2.6 billion and implemented from 2017-2020.

Accordingly, the project will support the sustainable livelihoods model for the youth, women and children in difficult circumstances to access education and protection of child laborers aged between 5 and 18 in Hue city.

On the same day, the Provincial People's Committee approved the non-refundable aid project on "A brighter future for children and youth in difficult circumstances in Thua Thien Hue of the Center for Community Capacity Development (CYCAD)" funded by Plan International (USA) with the budget of nearly VND 1.3 billion, implemented in the period of 2017-2020 to support children, and young men and women in difficult circumstances in Thua Thien Hue province to live in a safe and inclusive environment and access to sustainable employment.
