This is a great opportunity for Thua Thien Hue province to introduce its potentials and strengths as well as to expand cooperation relations in many fields with domestic and foreign enterprises.

At the working session, Mr. Tetsu Funayama said that on implementing its development strategy, Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam was exploring the potential and markets in some provinces and cities of Vietnam so as to invest in developing some of its strong fields including healthcare, information technology, tourism, real estate, textiles and garments; especially to invest in convenience store system, produce packaging for products exported to Japan and manufacture new technology cars.

Also at this time, the company desires to explore the market potential, strengths and policies to attract investment of Thua Thien Hue province in order to build plans to expand investment in the province in the coming time.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao said that Thua Thien Hue was now prioritizing the development of industries, high technologies, infrastructure for tourism and service development.  Besides the current preferential policies of Vietnamese Government, Thua Thien Hue province has also issued a list of projects and policies to attract investment for all domestic and foreign investment projects such as supporting policies for land, taxation, infrastructure, etc. Hue is also an open market and has high demand not only within the province but also a large number of domestic and foreign visitors. Hopefully, the fields of strength of Mitsubishi Corporation Vietnam will be invested and developed in Thua Thien Hue province in the near future.
