Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho visits and encourages the volunteer force working in the health control points
In the letter, Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho wrote,
The COVID -19 epidemic is developing in a complicated and unpredictable manner in the world as well as in Vietnam. It has been making a great impact on life, work, study, production, and business of the people and businesses.
In Thua Thien Hue province, since March 7, the fight against COVID-19 has entered a new stage as the first case in the province was confirmed (the 30th case of the country). With the spirit of "fighting against the epidemic like fighting against the enemy", the whole political system of the province has been actively involving, and deploying all solutions as well as resources to prevent and control the epidemic.
For the provincial authorities to have more resources, strengthen the prevention and treatment measures; ensure the social security, life safety and health for the people, I call on agencies, unions, businesses, organizations, and individuals, with their affection and responsibility to the community, to actively participate in the material and spiritual support, accompanying the provincial authorities in the fight against COVID-19.
The support from the hearts of agencies, unions, businesses, organizations, and individuals will be a great source of encouragement for the local authorities, medical teams, armed forces, and others who are directly fighting against the epidemic day and night.
When the authorities, people and businesses go together, further affirming the strength of the whole society in this fight against the epidemic; we believe that the epidemic will be repelled soon; the people's lives will return to stability; the socio-economic situation of the province will continue to develop as expected; everyone will live in a happy and peaceful Hue.”
