Awarding 440 “For studious students” scholarships
HNN.VN - On the afternoon of September 20, Viettel Thua Thien Hue - the branch of Military Telecommunications Group held a summarizing ceremony of 5 years implementing the program and awarded the “For studious students” scholarships in 2019 for the sixth time at Quang Dien district.

According to the Senor lieutenant colonel Phan Xuan Hong – Director of Viettel branch in Hue, together with the message “Hundreds of small dreams need a significant act”, the study promotion program “For studious students” is one of the key activities which have been implemented by Viettel since 2014 and committed to last for 10 years; in which 26 billion VND is used to award scholarship to disadvantaged students with good and excellent learning capacity.
After 5 years of implementation, over 125.000 scholarships (equivalent to 125 billion VND) have been awarded to studious poor students nationwide. In which, 2.250 scholarships (equivalent to 2,250 billion VND) belong to students in Thua Thien Hue province.
On this occasion, Viettel Thua Thien Hue awarded 440 scholarships worth 440 million VND to students in 44 communes in the provincial area, in which 10 scholarships were awarded to students in each commune.
