“Ring the Golden Bell” competition commemorates the 104th birth anniversary of the late President Le Duc Anh

TTH.VN - On the morning of December 1st, the competition “Ring the Golden Bell” was held at Le Duc Anh General Cultural House on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of the late President, General Le Duc Anh (December 1st, 1920 - December 1st, 2024).

Candidates answering the questions during the competition 

The competition had the participation of 60 candidates who were students from An Luong Dong and Phu Loc High schools. The contestants took turn answering questions in the set of 20 questions, all related to the life and career of the late President, General Le Duc Anh.

Besides that, there were several questions about the Thua Thien Hue province’s development process towards becoming a centrally-governed municipality. The winner was the one answered the last question correctly and received the “Ring the Golden Bell” award.

The program was held to help students to reach better understanding of the life and career of the late President, General Le Duc Anh, and provided them with a healthy and useful playground. Also, on this occasion, there were other activities such as incense offerings and memorial activities for the late President, General Le Duc Anh; reading books at the cultural house library. The representative of the library presented books to participating schools, and students wrote their impression and feeling in the diary of the library.
