| Competitions starting right after the opening ceremony |
Taking place from January 31 to February 1, the tournament brings together nearly 100 billiards players from 17 units and localities, including the City Police Department and the communes and wards of Thuan Hoa, Phu Xuan, Vy Da, Huong Tra, Phong Dien, Kim Long, Phong Phu, Huong An, Thuy Xuan, Huong Thuy, Phu Vang, Dan Dien, Khe Tre, Phu Vinh, Loc An, and Phu Loc.
At the tournament, players compete for 6 medal sets in the carom one-cushion and carom three-cushion events.
According to assessments, top 3 positions in the carom three-cushion event are expected to be fiercely contested among Mr. Le Minh Duc (Thuan Hoa), Mr. Tran Quoc Anh Minh (Phu Xuan), Mr. Ngo Duc Thang (Huong Thuy), and Mr. Le Quy Hien (Thanh Thuy).
Similarly, the carom one-cushion event is expected to be contested by Mr. Anh Minh (Phu Xuan), Mr. Kim Cuong (Thuy Xuan), Mr. Thanh Tuan (City Police Department), and Mr. Thanh Toan (Thuan Hoa).
Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan, Director of the City Sports Center, said that the tournament provides an opportunity for athletes to showcase their talent, gain competitive experience, and improve their professional skills. Through this, outstanding players can be identified and selected for further training to compete in national, regional, and international tournaments in the coming time.
To date, the 10th City Sports Games 2026 have organized competitions in boat racing, karate, taekwondo, shuttlecock kicking, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, vovinam, chess, Chinese chess, and billiards.
