The AFC Grassroots Football Festival 2025 is an activity jointly organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, Hue City Football Federation, and Hue Football Team. Its objectives are to promote grassroots football in the community; raise awareness about children's rights and a safe, equal sporting environment; promote sustainable development through gender equality, creating a fair and inclusive playground where all children, genders, and different circumstances can participate.

At the festival, under the guidance of Do Thi Ngoc Cham, a former national female player, the Grassroots Football Ambassador, 150 children from SOS Children's Village Hue and Immanuel Hue Community Football Club had a fun-filled afternoon through various ball games such as group tag; timed dribbling through posts; crossbar and post hitting challenges; running through posts and heading the ball into the goal; and exchanging and competing in ball juggling with Ngoc Cham, the former national female player.

More than just enjoying playing with the ball and showcasing their skills in their favorite sport, the event also served as a place for the children to spread passion and dreams, partly removing barriers and disadvantages, and providing them with valuable life lessons about discipline, teamwork, and self-reliance for the future.
