Signing to support SOS Hue Children’s Village on training and vocational guidance

HNN.VN - The Provincial Information Technology and Electronics and Telecommunication Association (HueDITA) has just coordinated with SOS Hue Children’s Village to organize a program on present giving and signing a cooperation agreement between the two organizations to help and support the children in SOS Hue Children’s Village be eligible to access technology backgrounds, as well as orient themselves, access to careers in the field of IT and communication.

Signing support agreement between HueDITA and SOS Hue Children’s Village

Attending the program were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho; Prof. Tran Thanh Van, Chairman of Meeting Vietnam Organization; Prof. Le Kim Ngoc, Chairman of Vietnam Children Support Association in France (AEVN); Mr. Do Trinh Hue, Head of the Vallet Scholarship Coordination Committee, leaders of HueDITA, Provincial IT Center, and the leaders of SOS Children’s Village.

Accordingly, the two units signed a cooperation agreement to build up a media room with audio-visual aids to serve the work of studying and teaching at SOS Hue Children’s Village; making the plan to organize skill training courses to raise awareness on IT sector and implementing the consultancy to support start-ups in the field of IT, Electronics and Telecommunications for students of SOS Hue Children’s Village.

In the framework of the program, through HueDITA’s connection, XELEX Technology Joint Stock Company offered SOS Hue Children’s Village 5 tablets to support the work of teaching and studying; HueCIT also presented the website of SOS Hue Children’s Village and supported the unit in information management and promotion on the Online environment.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho presented gifts to students with good academic achievement to encourage their learning spirit; at the same time, he desired to the units and businesses to keep on accompanying Thua Thien Hue province in social work to give better support to the children with difficult circumstances, giving them the opportunity to study and develop, becoming the good citizens in the digital era.

At present, the SOS Hue Children’s Village is 1 of 17 villages of SOS Vietnam organization, which is nurturing over 80 orphans, abandoned and unfortunately losing their original families (from newborn to university level). Over 20 years of operation, up to now, SOS Hue Children’s Village has had a quite complete facility, helping the children to have the opportunities to reach the comprehensive development. Many children growing up from the “home” of SOS Hue Children’s Village now have stable jobs, becoming the helpful citizens to society and come back to help the village.
