Investigating venues for the “Tet holiday in Hue” program

Tthe program "Tet holiday in Hue" would connect the tourist routes of the Imperial Citadel Night Street.

On the 30th of November, Hue City Party Committee, in collaboration with Hue Monuments Conservation Center investigated venues for the organization of “Tet holiday in Hue” program.

The delegation carried out field investigations into several venues, including Ngo Mon Square, August 23rd Street, and Le Huan Street to develop a comprehensive plan for the locations where the “Tet holiday in Hue” program 2023 is held.

"Tet holiday in Hue" is one of the series of activities to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the Lunar New Year 2023 - the Year of the Cat organized by Hue City. This would be an event to promote Hue's traditional cultural values while reenacting, introducing, and promoting some celebrating activities of Hue people during the traditional Tet holiday, promising to be a useful playground for the locals as well as visitors to experience Hue cuisine and local specialties.

According to Hue city’s leaders,  the program "Tet holiday in Hue" would also connect the tourist routes of the Imperial Citadel Night Street as well as supporting poor, near-poor households, and disadvantaged families so that they can all enjoy a better traditional Tet holiday.
