Thanh Tien paper flowers in the crop of Tet

HNN.VN - By the end of November to the early of December (the eleventh and twelfth month of lunar calendar), local people in Thanh Tien village, Phu Mau commune (Hue city) are busy making paper flowers to meet the demand of worship and decoration for Tet holiday.

Each ordinary paper flower costs from 5.000 VND to 7.000 VND per set, while the price is a little bit higher for lotus paper flower, at around 15.000 VND to 20.000 VND per branch.

Nowadays, although there is no way to fall into fresh flower shortage, a part of local people still chooses paper flowers to keep the spring colors longer. Some others even buy the whole trees of paper flowers to make their family space more brilliant. Thanks to that, paper flower craftsmen can still live with their craft.
