“Hue Jogging - Running for the community” 5th edition in 2024

HNN.VN - Following the success of four previous events, attracting a large number of residents and tourists, Hue City continues with the 5th edition of the “Hue Jogging – Running for the community” program in 2024, themed “Always New Hue.”

 The jogging event attracts a large number of participants in both residents and visitors after the success of four previous ones.

The 5th “Hue Jogging – Running for the Community” event is scheduled to take place at 4:00 AM on September 1st, 2024, at the Provincial Administrative Urban Area Square, Xuan Phu Ward, Hue City.

The event will feature two race distances: 5km and 10km. The 5km route will start at the Provincial Administrative Urban Area Square and pass through Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Hoang Lanh Street → Vu Thang Street → To Huu Street → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → loop around AEONMALL Hue → Van Tien Dung Street → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → To Huu Street → Provincial Administrative Urban Area Square.

The 10km route will follow a similar path: Provincial Administrative Urban Area Square → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Hoang Lanh Street → Vu Thang Street → Vu Xuan Chiem Street → To Huu Street → 02 Street (The Manor Crown Urban Area) → To Huu Street → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → loop around AEONMALL Hue → Van Tien Dung Street → Vo Nguyen Giap Street → Hoang Quoc Viet Street → Vo Chi Cong Street → To Huu Street → D.A Street (Phu My An Urban Area) → 01 street (Phu My An Urban Area) → D Street (Phu My An Urban Area) → To Huu Street  → Provincial Administrative Urban Area Square.

This event is part of the celebrations for the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2024) and the 79th National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2024). It aims to encourage public participation in physical exercise, supporting the movement “All people exercise following the great example of great Uncle Ho,” and contributing to improving health for study, work, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
