Honoring outstanding players of amateur “freestyle” football

HNN.VN - The Phui (“Freestyle”) Hue Gala (Phui Hue Awards) 2025 took place on the afternoon of March 28th at Hue Industrial College. The event was jointly organized by Twin Media and Co Do Media to honor outstanding individuals and teams who contributed to the vibrant development of grassroots football in Hue City over the past year.

Three outstanding players receive the Golden, Silver, and Bronze Ball awards

In 2025, Phui Hue football scene featured numerous exciting and highly competitive tournaments, drawing the participation of many well-known teams in the local and Central region amateur football community, such as FC Win Win, FC Co Ri, FC Quy Tran, and FC CocaCola. From these competitions emerged many standout players, including Son Neymar, Khai Dam Chuon, Bao Coca, Hai Gay, Duong Cris, Tri Ngao, and Bao Do.

Based on votes from media partners, commentators, coaches, club owners, and fans, the “Golden Ball” was awarded to striker Son Neymar (FC Thien Khoi). The “Silver Ball” and “Bronze Ball” went to Khai Dam Chuon (FC Quy Tran) and Bao Coca (FC Coca, FC Cori), respectively.

In addition to these three major awards, the Organizing Committee also presented honors such as the “Golden Glove”, “Golden Boot”, “Contribution Award”, “Impressive Veteran”, “Best Young Player”, “Team of the Year”, and “Golden Whistle.”

Now in its fifth year, the Phui Hue Awards not only celebrates outstanding amateur football players but also serves as recognition of the silent contributions of the grassroots football community. These collective efforts have significantly contributed to the remarkable development of freestyle football in Hue in recent years.
