From the very first minute, the two teams displayed completely different styles of play.
While FC Khong Gian Hue stirred up the game with their pressing tactics, FC Cori remained calm on their side of the pitch with a sharp defensive-counterattacking strategy.
By the 7th minute, from a counterattack, FC Cori scored the opening goal to take the lead 1-0.
After the early loss, FC Khong Gian Hue constantly pushed their formation higher. However, with solid coverage and experienced defending, FC Cori held firm and were crowned champions of the 2025 Hue City 7-a-side Football Club Championship, Huda Cup.
Earlier, after their defeats in the semifinals to FC Khong Gian Hue and FC Cori, FC Union and FC Moriko shared third place overall.
The 2025 Hue City 7-a-side Football Club Championship, Huda Cup, was co-organized by the Hue City Football Federation and the Department of Culture & Sports, taking place from August 15th - 24th at Uyen Phuong artificial turf field.
The championship brought together 12 football clubs: FC Quoc Nhat, FC Trang Phone, FC Duong Mong, FC Truong An, FC Moriko, FC Cori, FC Minh Tien, FC Khong Gian Hue, FC Union, FC Tay Thanh, FC Long ARS, and FC Ben Ben.
The competition served as a platform to discover new talents, link grassroots movements with youth training, provide a foundation for professional football, and contribute to promoting Hue’s image across the country.
